Winter Softball and Baseball

Winter sports regsitration is now open. Join the rest of the valley in playing the sports that you love year round!  Games will be played on Fields 5 and 6 in Demuth Park and at Indio's Davis Field.

Register your entire team or as an individual. Do you want to manage a winter team? E-mail the League today. Teams are forming now! sign up for coed baseball or girls fast pitch softball.

WestFest Rodeo Returns

Palm Springs Youth League will be hosting the Cowboy Carnival again this year as part of the 2011 WestFest Rodeo. Advance tickets for the carnival rides at a discounted price. Check back here to buy your tickets. This event is a major fund-raiser for the League. To help keep our fee down, we need to you to help promote this event. Pass the word!

A Note From the President

Congratulations to Jeff Weaver for exemplifying the Palm Springs Youth League philosophy. Jeff’s exuberance and drive to help everyone in the Pinto division learn and grow as a player. Teaching his players how to win and lose with dignity and integrity is exactly the approach PSYL feels builds well balanced adults. Jeff is the Palm Springs Youth League Coach of the Year

I would like to extend a personal thank you to Scott Ziegler and Jeff Shaw for taking personal ownership in their programs. Their tireless and ongoing dedication to the girls and boys has made PSYL one of the best youth sports program in the Coachella Valley. I whole heartedly appreciate their dedication in the PSYL philosophy. The fact that I can rely on them to oversee their programs allows me to build other parts of our organization.

I would also like to thank Sari and her family for dedicating 5 nights a week to the snack bar operation. What most members don’t know is she missed many of her kid’s games to oversee the operation.

Last but not least thank you to the other board a members for taking on the year round work that they do to keep PSYL on top!
